Paul is the Managing Director of PRD Capital Advisors and a member of the General Partner for Forté Ventures LP. Paul began his fund management investment career in 1991 as a partner with Cordova Ventures. During his career, Paul has been instrumental in the creation, development and management of a number of Cordova's private company and real estate investment funds. He has been involved in well over 120 private company investments, including Ecovation, ConstructWare, Tissue Products Technologies Corp., Axonn, RealCom Communications (sold to MCI-WorldCom), Horizon Medical (IPO), National Action Financial Services (strategic sale), Accipeter (sold to CMGI), Lynk Systems (sold to Royal Bank of Scotland), Atherogenics (IPO) and Inhibitex (IPO).

In 1999, Paul founded Industrial Technology Ventures, L.P. (ITV), one of the first funds to focus on companies with innovative technologies for core industries (known today as "Cleantech"). Target industries for ITV included energy, advanced materials, resources recovery, electronics, and general industrial. Paul served as a Board Director for many if ITV's portfolio companies. Portfolio companies included ASPEX, Inc. (Delmont, PA - sold to FEI Corp.), Ecovation, Inc. (Victor, NY - sold to EcoLab), Axonn, LLC (Covington, LA - sold to Globalstar, Inc.), ConstructWare (Alpharetta, GA - sold to Autodesk), Tissue Products Technology Corp. (Green Bay, WI - sold to ST Paper), Arisdyne Corp. (Cleveland, Ohio) and SkyBitz, Inc. (Reston, VA - sold to Telular). ITV is currently in its final stages of monetization, and Paul continues to serve as a managing member of ITV's General Partner.

Before joining Cordova, Paul was a practicing attorney concentrating primarily in the areas of corporate finance, securities and mergers and acquisitions. He began his legal career in Atlanta with Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP. Before attending law school, Paul worked as a financial advisor at Shearson American Express and Paine Webber, and, for several years in the early 1980s, he was an SEC Registered Investment Advisor.

Paul is a 1986 honors graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he was an associate editor on the Law Review and the International Law Review, as well as a member of the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation, he was selected to the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society. Paul holds an undergraduate degree in finance from The University of the State of New York, Albany, New York.
