Carl Wilson is the former CIO and EVP of Marriott International, Inc. During his 14-year career with the company, he established the IT organization as a strategic business partner to the broader company by aligning the technology function with aggressive profit goals and implementing leading-edge technology to advance the global presence of Marriott. Today Marriott is a $12 billion revenue company with 3,600 hotels across 70+ countries.
Prior to Marriott, Carl was the CIO and Vice President of Information Resources for Georgia-Pacific Corporation, a global forest products company. Following the corporate transition, his position was expanded to include IT accountabilities for food and international retailing sectors worldwide. During his tenure, he served as SVP of Management Information Services with CIO responsibilities.
